The City of Roses sends two ambassadors to The Emerald City.
You're invited to a night of Cascadian superpowers, united to perform the arts they have mastered.
Leatherdaddy(SEA), like the ocean, you stare out into tranquility and you get hit in the face with larges waves of riffs.
Sloths(PDX), harness an energy that exert discordant melodies and propelling rhythm, a true auditory onslaught.
U SCO(PDX, Frantic Instrumental mathematicians. Labyrinthian song structures, ear candy to those with an affinity to complicated equations.
Suck(Sea), Emerald City incarnate, pure rock.
Mark your calendars, this is not a eve to be missed.
Friday on January 30th, 2015.

Mary Lattimore (Philadelphia)
Weyes Blood (NYC)
Josh Medina (Seattle)
January 31st at Hollow Earth Radio
Live performance and broadcast
"Mary Lattimore is a harpist living in Philadelphia. Her harp teachers have included Kathleen Bride at the Eastman School of Music, Luisa Prandina of La Scala, and Ulrike Mattanovich of the Vienna Symphony. She has performed and recorded with such great artists as Meg Baird, Thurston Moore, Sharon Van Etten, Jarvis Cocker, Kurt Vile, Steve Gunn, Ed Askew and Fursaxa."
"Natalie Mering, the brains behind the indie-folk outfit Weyes Blood, has seen a great deal of the country in the past few years. She has toured as a member of noise-rock outfit Jackie-O Motherfucker and alongside Nautical Almanac, although most listeners will recognize her robustly forlorn voice from Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti’s Mature Themes. After the release of her 2011 label debut, The Outside Room, she has wandered America like a Steinbeck character (anyone who adapts her stage name from a Flannery O’Connor novel will certainly be familiar with literary references)."

Rise Up, Speak Out!
Program Description: Max 2da Future & Darwin Cyphers Bison Manning are bringing social movement leaders, activists, advocates, and creative powerhouses to your airwaves. Each week will feature several short clips of voices from protests or rallies around Seattle or important developments in the city that affect everyday citizens. During this interview heavy section of our Friday news block, there will be a feature interviewee from various community organizations dealing with environmental stewardship, homelessness, people of color’s rights, and misallocation of the city’s economic tools and whatever our listeners feel is percolating to the top! The interviewee will discuss the goal of the organization or the movement and relevant issues to their group with their stance on those topics. We are always looking for suggestions on new voices to bring on the air and topics to discuss. We hope that collectively the various social, political, environmental & economic groups can rise up and confidently speak out on the airwaves. If you have suggestions, please email us at email@example.com
