Metal and punk are two great tastes which go great together. I especially love that magical time in the mid-80's when the UK punks first heard Slayer and decided that they were actually heshers at heart. Stuff like Sacrilege, Bolt Thrower, Concrete Sox, Napalm Death. I also have a fondness for Afrobeat, Zamrock, most anything in the Ethiopiques series, anything on the NorthSide label (Garmarna, Hedningarna, Vässen), and some psychadelic and garage rock (Nuggets comps, Hawkwind, Amon Duul II), and live tapes from my own collection.
